Investing in the meaningful involvement, partnership, and leadership of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities is the only way to ensure not only rights-based integrity of carbon programs, but also the highest integrity of mutually reinforcing environmental and social outcomes from jurisdictional forest carbon finance initiatives.
